DATA|SUITE Manual

observe opportunity and create activity 2

Firstly, you create an Act! connection. You can read more about it in the chapter Connect DATA|SUITE with Act!.

After that you tick the types of opportunities (status) that should be observed, i.e. open, closed-won, closed-lost or inactive. You can not only tick one of those, but several, if you like.

Below that you can see your opportunity processes and stages. You can limit the selection of opportunities by ticking only the processes and stages that should be taken into consideration.

Next, you are able to create criteria for the individual opportunity fields. These criteria make it possible to narrow down even further, which opportunities should be used for the creation of activities.

Firstly, you choose an opportunity field (= Source Column) and an Operator. The operator states what the content of the field should fulfill. You can create a setting that the probability of closure of the opportunities that are observed should not be higher than 50 (%). When entering the particular value you have to make sure that the format is like the format of the Act! field you selected. In the end you pick a logical operator with which you indicate how the criterion you have just created is connected to the next criterion. In case you create two criteria, for example, you can connect both of them with an and (here, both have to be fulfilled) or with an or (then, only one of the two has to be fulfilled). In order to save your criterion you click on the green +:

In order to adopt the changes click on the verkaufschancen beobachten und aktivitäten schaffen 5 symbol. You can also create a new criterion on the basis of an existing criterion by clicking on the verkaufschancen beobachten und aktivitäten schaffen 6 symbol.

Next, you go to the Activity settings tab.
