Import Excel files with pictures

You have a Excel file with different columns and and one of these columns is set as a picture field.

For example it looks like this:

First Name	Last Name	Company	Address	Postal	City	Country	Picture Field
Chris	Huffman	CHTechone	New Avenue 5	12345	New York	United States
Michael	Huffman	CHTechone	New Avenue 5	12345	New York	United States
Michael	Huffman	CHTechone	New Avenue 5	12345	New York	United States

To understand why the import is not importing pictures from excel you need to understand how excel does save pictures.
A Picture is not saved in a cell, a picture is saved as a coordinate.

For the example at the top, you may think that the images are saved in Column „Picture Field“ and there it is inside Column 1,2,3 where the picture is in it. This is wrong!

Excel does save it this way: Picture 1, x=400; y=200
                                           Picture 2, x=400; y=450
                                           Picture 3, x=400; y= 700

This is exactly the reason why it is not possible to export an image with our Import|IT into Act!
