How to make a tray icon (Scan|IT by example) always visible

If you want to see and have direct access to e.g. the tray icon of the Scan|IT addon you can do the following:

• Click on the twin arrows and select Customize…
  
• Search for the tray icon of the wished app and select Show icon and notifications from popup menu
  
• That’s it!
