How to make a backup of a database

To save your Database follow this steps:

1. Start Act! And load your database
   
   
2. Click on the menu bar on “File”. A drop down menu will open, there you select „Back Up“. Then click on the item „Database“.
   
   
3. This will open a dialog box. Choose a path where you save the database. There are more options but if you want to send the database to us please don’t select “Password protect file”. Then click on „OK“ and your database will be saved as a zip file
