Scan|IT provides an easy way to scan business cards and pass the informations directly to your Act! CRM-System.
In order that the communication between Scan|IT and your CardScan scanner works as expected you must configure CardScan as described below:
- Firstly install the CardScan driver. After starting the first time you will see this message:
At this point you can Close this window. Note that this wizard can be started later via Tools -> Welcome Wizard
- Open the scanners Preferences
- Disable the automatically detection. Otherwise the CardScan software takes over the scan process before Scan|IT can do this.
