After configuring the database connection please scroll down a bit:

 

 

With the option Filters for all instances (Professional and Ultimate Edition) you can limit the data records you want to export.

Criteria for that are when the data records are created and when they were modified last (for example last month).

​

Also you can decide whether only the child entities that belong to exported parents will be exported.

​

Depending on the data volume, the chosen output format or the further processing of exported data it may make sense to limit the output. You can limit the maximum amount of data records per output file.

 

Next you choose the Output settings.
