Here you can find explanations and definitions for every instance in EXPORT|IT.

 

Instances are types of data records, like contacts or Groups for example, that you can export from Act!.

 

 

Contacts

All the contacts in your Act! database will be exported.*

 

Companies

If you want to export the instance Companies you export all of the companies in Act!.

 

Groups

You can export all the Groups in your Act! database.*

 

Picklists (only with Professional and Ultimate Edition)

In the picklists the suggestions for the fields will be displayed (for example in the field country "Germany" will be shown as a recommendation).

 

User

Information about all the users in your Act! database will be exported.

 

Secondary Contacts

In case you want to export the instance Secondary Contacts you export all the Secondary Contacts in your Act! database.

 

Contacts to Groups (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

Here you can display the relation between the contacts and their respective groups.

 

Contacts to Companies (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

Here you can display the relation bewtween the contacts and their respective companies.

 

Notes (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

If you want to export the instance Notes you export all the notes in your Act! database.

 

Activities (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

You export all the activities in your Act! database.*

 

Histories (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

You can export all of the histories in your database.*

 

Opportunities (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

If you export the instance Opportunities you export all the opportunities in your Act! database.*

Products/Services (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

You export all the products you have added to your opportunities.

 

Productlist (Standard, Professional and Ultimate Edition)

You export your product list with all of the prices.

 

Data structure - Contacts (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

This instance shows the structure of your contact data records. You can export, for example, when the data recod was created and edited last.

 

Data structure - Companies (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

You can export what the structure of your company data records is like, for example when the data record was created and edited last.

 

Data structure - Groups (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

This instance shows the structure of your group data records. You can, for example, export when the data record was created and edited last.

 

Data structure - Opportunities (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

With that instance you can export the structure of the opportunity data records, for example when the data record was created and edited last.

 

Entity Count (only Professional and Ultimate Edition

You export how many data records there are of every Act! data record type (e.g. Contacts, Groups, Companies) in your database.

 

Contact Relationships (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

With this instance you can export contact relationships.

 

Custom Tables (only Professional and Ultimate Edition)

If you have created custom tables in Act! with our ADDON TABLE|IT you can export them as well as their data structure.
