TABLE|IT Manual

Oftentimes during the import and export of data in Act! you need your data in the form of a CSV file.

This abbreviation stands for Comma-separated values and describes the structure of a text file for saving and exchanging simply structured data.

Many customers want to check the values in their file before any further use and do so by opening the file in Excel. This leads to problems every once in a while, for example the "leading zero" of postal codes is cut off.

In order to display the data of your CSV file correctly we advise the use of a CSV editor we made good experiences with. The data can be read and edited quickly and without any problems. The editor offers a variety of other features as well.

You can download the editor in the Lite version. The full functionality can be accessed with the (fee-based) Pro version.
