Here you can select which data you trust the most, meaning which data should rather be checked during the duplicate search. You have the possibility to choose between the most recently modified, the least recently modified, the latest created or the earliest created data records.

 

If you tick Record data that would be lost as a Note in the retained record the content of a data record that is partially overwritten will be copied to a note during the merge of the double data records so that you still have access to them afterwards.

 

Next, you select which data records should be merged after the duplicate check. The options are notes, opportunities, histories, activities, documents, secondary contacts and groups.
