Click on Filtering > Search in the tool bar of your table to open this dialog:

 

 

Search for key words in your table. Enter the words you want to search for in the field Search for. You can also select the locations you want to search in. That could be contact or company fields or tables like "Hardware Equipment", for example. In the tabs below you will see the results of your search. You can use the results to create a lookup for contacts, groups or companies.

 

In the end you click on Close.
