Two-factor authentication refers to the proof of identity of a user by means of two independent components.
You want 2 factor authentication for your Act! for Web? First you need to fill out the following form.
After our technicians have activated 2 factor authentication for you, you will receive two e-mails.
The first email contains the activation from your WatchGuard AuthPoint user account.
This email looks like this:
Click "START ACTIVATION" here.
After clicking the "Activate" button, this window will open.
It briefly explains that the user account is set up to use AuthPoint authentication.

If you already have the AuthPoint app installed, click this 
on your phone and scan the QR code you received by email.
If you don't have the AuthPoint app installed yet, you can download it from the Google Playstore or App Store and then follow the steps below.
Once you have installed the app, open it and then click the "Activate" button.
By clicking this window appears, click here on "Allow".
With this click, your rear camera will open automatically. Here you scan the QR code that you received by email. After scanning, this window will appear here you can change the token name or leave it. After that, click on the "Save" button.
Now you have created a token, this changes every 28 seconds.
The second email is that you set a new password for your Watchguard Authpoint.
Click the "CREATE PASSWORD" button on the email.
This window opens, here you enter a new password, confirm this and then click on the "Save" button. By clicking, a confirmation window will appear.
After you have followed the steps described above, you can now open the 2-MFA portal and then click on the "Authpoint-SAML" button there.
By clicking on it, this window will open, here you enter your username and click on the "Next" button.
Finally, enter your password in this window and under the field enter your one-time password (OTP) which will appear on your mobile device. After you have entered the passwords, click the "Finish" button.
Now you have logged in. Click on the Act! logo to access your Act! for Web with 2 factor authentication.
